CEO Anandan Arnold, co-owner Rahul Sood reflect on championship

Two visionaries of the Jaffna Stallions franchise CEO Anandan Arnold, co-owner Rahul Sood reflected on the team’s historic championship.

Chief executive Anandan Arnold, the architect of the franchise and visionary to grow the sport in Jaffna, reflected on shared experiences along the road to the championship title.

“Thank you to all our fans and supporters for making our first season in the Lanka Premier League an amazing and thrilling championship experience,” said Mr. Arnold.

“Great achievements are never realized alone and are best when shared.”

Co-owner Rahul Sood who crafted Jaffna Stallions into a global brand, reflected on his personal journey with the franchise.

“The historic victory was only part of the story,” said Mr. Sood, who personally led the team’s brand strategy.

“Players from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds, came together and formed lifelong bonds” says Rahul Sood

“There is so much depth to this story, the long-lasting friendships between the teams is just the beginning.  Players from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds, came together and formed lifelong bonds,” said Mr. Sood.

The lead-up to the final saw a celebration of Jaffna, and an emphasis on the franchise’s commitment to develop the sport in the region.

Fan engagement and cricket’s ability to bring the country together exceeded expectations.
